TRUMAN MUSEUM'S MISSION
The mission of Truman Museum is to preserve and display the area history for the present and future generations.
RESEARCH RESOURCES AT THE MUSEUM:
- Microfilmed Truman Tribunes from 1900-2007
- Area histories: Churches, schools, organizations, business, towns, city council, fire department, townships, family histories, obituaries/funeral folders, cemetery records, military, all Truman Public School Year Books and more.
- Truman also has 5 rooms to tour. The large front room is filled with local memorabilia and research materials. The other rooms are Medical Room, Women and Children’s Room, Kitchen and Parlor.
MEMBERS WANTED
Join the Truman Historical Association. For $10/person annually you can give your support to keeping Truman area history alive and available to all. We also accept memorials and donations. All these sources help to keep our doors open. All our workers volunteer their time and efforts.
